The Land Art Generator Initiative biennial design competition comes to Melbourne in 2018, through the vision and sponsorship of the Victorian Government and in partnership with the City of Port Phillip, Carbon Arts, Climarte, and Federation Square.
LAGI 2018 invites teams of artists, architects, designers, scientists, engineers, and others to submit proposals for a large-scale and site-specific public art installation for the St Kilda Triangle that generates clean energy with the potential to power hundreds of homes.
The design brief will be available at landartgenerator.org from 5 January 2018.
Submissions are due on 6 May 2018.
First place award is $16,000 USD and second place is $5,000.
